Remember These Guys?

The Novogratz Family
Robert and Cortney Novogratz, the owners of Sixx Design in NYC, are the couple who wrote Downtown Chic, a book that chronicles the renovation and decoration of their numerous houses, all while having six kids....wait....make that seven. They are fun, sophisticated and have created a sort of "formula" for living a stylish life with a brood of young kids in the heart of New York.
Well, guess what?
Bravo TV thinks they are worth a more personal look! If you want to see behind the scenes and into the life of this couple who seems to have it all, check out 9 BY DESIGN a new docu-series on April 13th at 11:00 ET/PT for the Premiere. (Moves to 10PM Tuesday, April 20th). It is an eight episode series where the couple take on a string of projects over a nine month period, taking the projects from wrecks to wonderful. Watch out HGTV!
Will you be watching?

  1. Saw the commercial on that...IDK
There seems to be a reality show for everything these days.
Like the modern gameshow of the 80's.....
I am sure there will be much inspiration though.

  3. Yes! I am very intrigued by this family who seem able to get so much done with so many little ones running around. I had one and was exhausted! Will be interesting to see them in action.

Have you watched Kell on Earth? It's GREAT!

  11. Hi LMF!
It's the wave of the future...cheap to make and ther will always be an audience I think! As long as I still get my "House" and "Glee" I think I will be OK.

Hi L&L! I'll be thinking of you all when I watch!

    Hi Tracy!
I have teens and it does not get any easier. I am so interested to see how they do it. I saw on a trailer that they were interviewing nannies. As soon as they said there were 7 kids, the looks on the nannies faces....priceless!!!

  12. Scott...you are probably better off! And yes I watch Kell! I want to cut her hair.

Linda....the thought of someone seeing my house in it's "natural" state fills me with dread!

  16. Bravo showed an episode of this last week. A bit like watching a car crash - can't take your eyes off but you know it's going to haunt you afterwards. I always feel so sorry for the kids in these shows. Unfortunately in this case (at least on the one episode) only a little of their designs were shown. The husband - whew - she deserves a medal.

  18. can't wait for this. Way to go bravo. THey were becoming the Real Housewives channel with the loss of project runway. I think this will help.
It will be nice to finally see a family of many children with an awesome home.
